Rattan Pendant Shade

Our rattan pendant shade is understated and totally unique. Handmade in Borneo by the Dayak people who specialise in rattan production, this shade was originally a fishing net. It is in London where we transform each net into the pendant shade.

In daylight hours the shade offers natural tones and in the evening the room is filled with warm light that flows through the wide weave. One of our favourite elements is the beautiful rattan rings that almost scallop the edge of the shade.

Fabulous in a larger space, we like the idea of two over a large kitchen table! Each has a 3-way continental fitting with a UK reducer and we recommend the use of LED lightbulbs particularly as rattan is a natural product and could be affected by heat coming off a bulb. They are also better for the environment!

Dimensions: 40 cm drop, 20cm top and 30cm base.
